All have to say to start this review off is - COME HERE! It is worth to try it. If you are not familiar with the area there is street parking available. When you walk in, the employee working cash register greets you. You do order at the register and have the option to dine in or take it to go. During my time there the cashier was very nice and helpful for our first time. He explained the menu well and let me order twice since I decided after I ordered to order more food! The menu is the perfect size and so are the portions. Each dish we tried had so much flavor and the display was nice. Service overall was good and quick! Even sitting down they came to check on us twice! We absolutely enjoyed every single bite. Everything was so good that I do recommend it all! The Brussels sprouts was so good that honestly I didn’t want to share it! Highly recommend for vegan and gluten free options!

I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. The food was amazing, and I highly recommend the sweet sour stir fry and the bao buns. The BBQ pork bao bun was delicious and soft, while my stir fry was delicious and enjoyable. Would come again.

I happen to be in the area showing my clients homes and decided to stop in and grab this on the way home. WOW!! EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! I got the cream cheese rangoon which was warm and loaded and crispy. Basic ramen absolutely delicious and I love that they give you the noodles separate. Also ordered edamame came hot and fabulous. Wish they had one of these in the city!

Hey fellow Google Maps users! I went to Forbidden Noodles in La Grange on 7/17/24 (Wednesday) with my bestie. This was my first time coming here so I didn’t know what to expect. My bestie has been here a few times, so I went with the Ramen should recommended I should get. Forbidden Noodles definitely exceeded the expectations I didn’t have. Food: I ordered a pork tonkotsu with miso instead of the tonkotsu (14.99). Since I was treating myself that day, I also decided to try their cream cheese rangoon with their spicy mayo (3.99 for 3 pieces) and it was absolutely delicious! Honestly a great combo! Atmosphere: I loved the atmosphere. I went on a really hot day, so it felt nice walking into the cold. The place had low lighting which gave it a warm and cozy aesthetic. Perfect place for a date or catch up lunch/dinner. Customer Service: I thought the customer service was great. The cashier that took my order was really nice. She even brought out cups of water for me & my bestie even though neither of us asked for any. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a good experience at Forbidden Noodles. I would highly recommend this place if you’re craving some Ramen but want to skip the trip going to Chinatown (although Chinatown does have a good chunk of Ramen spots). You can even watch a movie before or after grubbing at Forbidden Noodles at the nearby Classic Cinemas La Grange Theatre. I hope this review helps Forbidden Noodles & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

Forbidden noodles' primarily culinary focus is Japanese Ramen and stir fry selections. The curry is good and tastes very much like the mild golden ramen brand Japanese curry that I make at home occasionally. The chicken and broccoli added to the standard rice and carrot/potato curry mixture were of good quality. The Tonkotsu had very good pork, and surprisingly, it included broccoli as well. The more common ramen garnishes of onions, baby bock choy, egg, naruto (fish cake), and seaweed were also in this bowl and tasted good. They have a cheese, steak, and jalapeno egg roll that was amazing, and yes, you should try one. Forbidden Noodles is a great addition to downtown La Grange and for this area, this is a good choice for ramen in the area. If you are searching for your favorite bowl of ramen anywhere around chicagoland, feel free to check my reviews of alternate ramen restaurant options.
